Happy Birthday George L. Rosario Jr.

So my son just turned 25, and as I said goodnight to him and saw him walk off to enjoy a night out in New York with his fiance and their closest friends, I took a drive to my mother's home and reflected on my 25 years as a father. I've raised a family in New York City. I've raised 2 boys into adulthood without their mother's assistance (monetary or emotional). I am raising another 5 children with the help of a woman that is an amazing mom, amazing partner, amazing friend and amazing all around person (Athina Rosario). 

I've raised my children in New York. This is such a strong statement because we constantly how terrible it is for anyone to raise a family in New York City. I will tell you that this comes from outsiders, and those that simply have the need to complain about everything in their lives. I would not change anything about my childhood. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, and I've lived in all three boroughs that I service (Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan). My parents raised their sons to walk a straight and narrow path, always staying away from the negative and damaging people, and always focusing on our goals. I've brought that same philosophy into the parenting of my own children and they have turned out to be amazing. New York City is a GREAT place to raise a family. Just look at my children, my nephews, my cousins' children, and all the people in my extended family. The Rosario's are a product of New York City and I am proud to say that I am a member of this amazing family.

So please folks, if you have ever dreamed of living in New York, don't let the negative people keep you from reaching for that dream. Go for it! I promise you, if you do it responsibly and ethically, you will not regret it. I love my New York City. I am in a serious love affair with New York. Let me help you develop your own love affair with the best city in the world.
